Randy Pikul

Growing up in New York, I found my passion for design while studying commercial art throughout high school. This course was comprised of 99% hand made art & design. Mechanical layouts, Rapidograph pens, and U&lc magazines were the norm. Acquiring this strict design foundation at such an early age allowed me to develop an intense attention to detail, as well as an evolving love for typography and all things design.

My passion for design lead me to art school in Philadelphia, where I excelled in all areas of study. I graduated in October, 2000 with a 3.8 GPA, majoring in graphic design/visual communication. Before graduating I secured a design position at Weblinc, an influential design agency focused on building custom websites with the upmost quality. This is where I learned a great deal about the web and it's many intricacies.

My experiences today range from designing and directing a wide range of visual solutions over diverse types of media: Web, print, photo, video, mobile, packaging, POP, trade shows, video games, product and clothing design. Over the past decade I have designed websites within a large web agency. Reinvented a small iconic brand across all media. Designed countless web and print collateral for a small firm. Structured, designed, and directed the best websites in the action sports industry.

I'm currently breathing in the sweet fresh air of Orange County, CA. For the past 5 years I have headed up all things web for Sole Technology. If you haven't already, please check out my work. I love meeting new people, so please say You can also find me lurking on the interwebs. Besides all things design I really love traveling and learning about other cultures. I enjoy cooking and eating great food, as well as surfing, snowboarding, and riding my bike. Big shout out to the 5 people who actually read this entire recap of my life.
